Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is a Prep Center and how does it work?
We act as an intermediary logistics hub. We receive your inventory directly from your suppliers, inspect each item, apply required marketplace labeling (such as FNSKU, suffixes, etc.), securely package them according to Amazon or marketplace guidelines, and ship them to their final fulfillment destination.
2. Is there a minimum shipment volume required to work with you?
Yes, we require a strict minimum volume of 200 units per inbound shipment sent to our facility. This total can be cumulative and composed of multiple distinct products or SKUs.
3. Do you accept flammable (Hazmat) products or hazardous materials?
At this time, we do not accept registrations from sellers intending to ship Hazmat products or certain glass items deemed hazardous to our staff.
4. What is your fee structure?
We do not charge based on monthly volume tiers. Our pricing is straightforward and flat-rate based on the service category: Single Product ($0.59 USD per unit), Bundles & Multi-packs ($0.99 USD per pack), and Big Size/Oversize ($0.99 USD per unit).
5. How and when do I pay for preparation services?
Our services operate on a strict prepaid basis. Once your order request is submitted and approved in our system, a QuickBooks payment link will be sent to your email. Payment must be fully processed and completed before you can ship your products to our prep center for preparation.
6. Who provides the shipping labels for shipments or returns?
The Client is solely responsible for creating, purchasing, and providing all corresponding shipping labels. Squirrel Prep Center will not purchase or advance funds for shipping labels. Valid prepaid labels must be uploaded through our support system before any goods can be dispatched.
7. How long can you store my products for free?
We provide up to 4 calendar days of free storage for your goods, counting from the day they are received at our facility. Starting on the fifth day, items will be subject to our long-term storage fees.
8. Do you handle customer returns or Amazon Removal Orders?
Yes, we accept returns arranged from your marketplaces or FBA. Upon receipt, you will be immediately notified via our support system to provide clear instructions on the disposition, such as re-preparation, returning the merchandise to your supplier, or disposal.
9. What happens if the merchandise received from my supplier does not match my order?
If we detect that the incoming inventory does not match your shipment order, our team will immediately halt the process and notify you through our support platform. We will hold the items and await your explicit disposition instructions (such as returning them to the supplier or forwarding them elsewhere).
Please note that because resolving supplier errors requires additional labor, auditing, and temporary storage, Squirrel Prep Center reserves the right to apply an administrative handling fee at our sole discretion for these unexpected disruptions, as we do not have a fixed rate for supplier discrepancies.
